Description
This handmade ceramic knick knack is intended to cheer a friend, brighten a plant or to beautify your desk, counter, or windowsill. This piece of ceramic art was made by hand in my Easthampton, Massachusetts studio.
Process: Each piece begins as a chunk of white stoneware clay. For these little dinos, I made press molds from little dinosaur toys, added the hand molded hearts with high fire wire, and glazed them individually before firing to cone 6 in my kiln.
Note: Minor imperfections, variations, and quirks are part of the unique, one-of-a-kind nature of using handmade items.
