I am a ceramic artist and illustrator making work inspired by my love for picture book illustration. Based in Easthampton, Massachusetts, my work can be found at craft shows and brick-and-mortar stores across the northeastern U.S.
I make pots that I would want to use, and my ceramic forms emphasize functionality — mugs, bowls, cups, and plates that feel good to use, that you want to reach for every day. Although I do not make my work specifically for children, I do love knowing that some people buy my work for children, and that my pottery might become part of someone’s childhood memories.
I earned a BFA in ceramics from Alfred University in 2003, then worked on my craft while assisting other potters and teaching children’s ceramics classes before starting my own business in 2010. My work has appeared in Apartment Therapy, Yankee Magazine, and other online and print publications.
